Nominations 8 constitutes a class (contact other drivers to make a class, if needed)

Timetable: Gates Open Friday 5pm

Scrutineering & Sign In 7.15am to 8.30am

Official’s Brief 8.45am

Drivers Brief 9am

Racing Starts 9.30am Sharp

 

Format: Four Heats and a final and racing under lights if required

Awards: Medallions awarded to the first 3 placegetters for the round.

Trophies awarded after Round 4 presentations on overall points for

series to first 3 placegetters.

Rookies – Participation awards.

 

Kart Specifications: As per 2009 rule book

Tear Offs: Tearoffs to be securely fastened to helmet and presented at scrutineering.

 

Insurance: All Pit Crew and/or guests must have armbands and signed insurance

forms and Ambulance cover before entering the pits. Day Insurance

cost $10 per person

 

Drivers to Note: No cars in the pits AT ALL. Trailers permitted but CARS TO BE PARKED outside of the pit area.

 

Engines to be started only after 8.30am.

No engines to be started at all during Drivers Brief.

Neckbraces compulsory for all drivers.

Scales in use and underweight drivers will be penalised.

The 2009 Rule Book will be enforced.

Karts must comply with all current specifications.

 

Race Day Format: Four Heats and a Final, of alternating directions, including racing under lights if required.

 

Presentation: Medallions awarded to the first 3 placegetters for the round

Trophies awarded at final round on overall points to first 3 placegetters

Rookies – Participation awards

 

Facilities: Camping permitted. Showers available.

Full Canteen & Bar Facilities

Bar available Saturday Night. NO alcohol to be brought on to the premises.

PLEASE support our canteen.

Saturday night BBQ (cook you own) salad and roll. $12 per adult, $7 per child.

Please order in advance and pay with your nomination fees to help us with the catering.
